Carried Away How to made a copper pendant

Carried Away ; A layer of glass enamel is first fused on a 24 gauge copper pendant. The shape to be placed on top is hand cut with a jewelry saw from another 24 gauge copper. The figure is hand engraved, and a wax coat of black is rubbed into the engraving. Prongs are then cut and riveted into the copper to hold the handmade fused glass raindrop. The hand-cut, engraved copper form is placed atop the first copper enameled layer. Set in a 1500-degree kiln, the shape and the bottom layer become one. Finished with a fused glass raindrop set in the prongs of the top figure.
