The Moon Boat and the Sun

"The Moon Boat and the Sun" There was a time long ago when the world was nothing but sky and water. During this time, the Moon Boat and the Sun sailed the seas in search of land so they may set their anchor down. One night the stars in the sky said to the Sun,  "We are so lonely up here in the sky. Would you be interested in joining us?"                                                                                                                                   Now thinking this over because the Sun never thought of that. "Me with you. Why not." he laughed.                                                                                                                                                                                 So the Sun joined the stars in the sky. A couple of problems arose. It seems that the Sun was so bright it blocked out all the stars. The Sun was also very hot. The water in the world began to evaporate, leaving some land too dry.                                                                                                                                                  The stars came to the Sun and asked, "We need to fix these issues, Mr. Sun. What are we to do?"                                                                                                                                                                               Long forgotten was the Moon boat. "How about I join the Sun in the sky with you stars. We could split the days in half.
