“The New Moon” ; Bobo the Owl was her name. She was an owl with some acclaim. She only flew in the darkness of night. I hope that is alright. Bobo would sit waiting in a tree, knowing that once a month, the New Moon was free. When below came the sound of running feet. Bubo would swoop for that special treat.Hunting it down as easy as can be. Don't be alarmed, don't be sad, an owls gotta eat, I hope you understand. When the Moon Danced with the Sun, The dance began before they met. It started with the Sun chasing the Moon around the world. When the Sun could not take the hunt any longer, it finally called out to the Moon. They pause their chase to look at each other. "What is it?" asked the Moon. Only smiling, the Sun holds out his hand for the Moon to take. The stars in the sky all assemble to watch what is to happen. Below them, the ocean starts to rise and fall. As it does, the sea's voice creates music with its' roar and crash of its' waves lashing the shore. With that, the Sun and Moon begin to dance. Shining in the sky, dancing the night away. When morning beckoned, the dance came to an end. Bowing to one and the other, the time had come, once again, for the Sun and Moon to go their separate ways. The Stars Twinkled; From sunrise to sunset, the Sun worked hard every day. Finally, when he set and his day was done, he just wanted to sing a song. Once in a while, the Moon had some time before it was her turn to light the sky and was obliged to come along. Pulling up a cloud, the Sun started to strum on the stings of the Moon. In a booming voice, he started this song. "The stars shined way above. Lighting the dark world with all their love. It gives us all a chance to sing and dance. Filling us with a feeling of true romance. Now that Our hearts are filled with joy. This song was for all of us to enjoy. Let's tip our caps to the stars above for giving us all the feeling of being beloved. Even thou they may be very far the next time you see one, remember to sing along."
